The Lazlo brand comes from the surname of the founder, Edina László, and was launched at the beginning of 2012. Originally she began her career as a textile print designer, later she became more interested in fashion, so she started to design the clothes as well. She still creates the patterns for her pieces, so pattern- and fashion design have become her two main lines. She is regularly attending design fairs both in Austria and Hungary, and she is becoming more and more popular also in Austria
Environmental awareness is very important to us. That’s why we do what we can to avoid wasting, in fact, we use leftover materials. If we can, we buy the leftovers from from closing plants and make a limited number of garments from it. We might run out of the roll of fabric, so we have to solve this with individual hand needlework
So-called hussar pants: made on the basis of tailoring patterns of traditional Hungarian folk costume.
